VSO Global Xchange
Working with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO), BAA through its Communities Trust continues to support the Global Xchange Programme, tackling areas of deprivation both abroad and in the communities around BAA's airports. This is a six-month programme which gives young people from different countries a unique opportunity to work together as volunteers in local communities both in England and overseas, with air travel creating a vital bridge between cultures. This year the Trust is supporting two of these programmes involving communities around Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
